Meet Our Team

Ruth Moore is an Integrative and Functional Medicine practitioner in Ellsworth, Maine.  She is also a Navy veteran who survived sexual assault in the military and fought for 27 years to get her VA benefits, endured discrimination in the workplace, developed stress based health conditions, was divorced, and became homeless.  Through grit, determination, and a supportive husband, she was able to work through these challenges and heal her spirit. 

Butch is Ruth's husband and has seen the discrimination, gaslighting, and both verbal and emotional abuse that veterans endure from their families and communities.  

He has supported her recovery and both her vision and initiative to create a nonprofit that truly does help veterans.  When not in the office, he can be seen on an instinctive archery course of fishing for his pet Bass.

Mr. Baldacci is the lead counsel for INTERNITY.  He owns a practice in Bangor, Maine and also serves as a Maine Legislator.  He excels at contractual law and civil litigation, and has successfully argued and won cases with the United States Supreme Court.

Cathy is married to a Vietnam Era veteran and knows first hand what struggles older veterans face.  She is our bookkeeper and more often than not, is attending functions and helping our veterans through multiple civic activities.

Chris is our Director of Outdoor Recreation and is a strong supporter of veterans recreation in Archery.  He is an archery instructor and artisan, and serves as a leader in his community as well as another nonprofit youth organization.

Sarah is our Development Director and is the daughter of a veteran.  Sadly, she has experienced discrimination and is committed to making her community a better place.  Sarah brings tremendous experience working within social organizations and naturally makes community connections.

Meredith is our volunteer director. She is a retired Navy chief and is the heart of volunteerism in our organization.  When events come up, she can often be seen connecting with people and recruiting them to help.

Aletha comes to us with a strong background in visual media.  She has experienced several challenges in the military and veteran communities, and is driven to helping create healing and therapeutic opportunities for veterans.

Matthew has strong ties to the veteran community and served as the Secretary of State in Maine for many years.  He has a strong background in business and provides the checks and balances to ensure the integrity of INTERNITY's programming and operations.
